SSS was incorporated in June 1978 and it’s fully owned by the Government of Samoa. Our core business includes the provision of Samoan Crewing services for International Ship Owners, shipping agency and stevedoring services and cargo handling for both sea and air freighted cargoes.
Our service is to ensure that our local seafarers get employment on-board overseas vessels. We have been supplying the world’s second largest shipping company (Mediterranean Shipping Company – MSC) with our local sea farers for more than 44 years. MSC is a member of the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) and our local seafarers are very well protected under such world organisation.
